Vincent J. Aleandri

Professional  Accordionist since 1959, Vincent Aleandri performed with the Duquesne University Tamburitzans while attending Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

At age 9 he started accordion lessons and went on to head his own trio in Pittsburgh playing venues such as country clubs, weddings, bar  mitzvah’s, specializing in ethnic music of many Mediterranean countries. He was also the Musical Director for the Pittsburgh Folk Festival from 1970 to 1982 providing music for ethnic groups including Italian, Scottish, Irish, Greek, Russian, Bulgaria, Serbian, Croatian, Israeli, Lithuanian, Ukrainian, Hungarian and Slovakian.

Lead Performer for the World Dancer’s Band at Walt Disney World, Epcot Center in 1982 Vince remained with Walt Disney World until 2001. He was part of a trio at Sea World “Waterfront” from 2003 to 2006.

During his time at Walt Disney World: Epcot Center Vince led a quartet in the piazza at Epcot’s Italian Pavilion and Alfredo’s restaurant.  He was also a soloist in the French and German pavilions at Epcot as well as private functions for many weddings and social functions at Disney and Epcot.

2006 to Present

Professional  Accordionist performing in and around Atlanta, Georgia   for private parties, functions and at venues such as Intercontinental Hotel ‘s  French Restaurant, FAB Atlanta, Bistro Niko, Buckhead Restaurant Group, Ecco, 7th Street, Atlanta, Fifth Group Corp.  Currently entertaining in my 5th year at “Borgo Italia” in Peachtree City.

As a hobby, Vince repairs and rebuilds... accordions!
